Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT! As of this release, versions 5.3.2 and higher, we have converted our installation and application updater tools to a new platform. These changes will make your system more efficient and installing updates more convenient.
After installing version 5.3.2.2, you will have the ability to manually run a "check for updates" tool designed to check for and install the latest program files so you can ensure you are always running the current version without the hassel of re-installing the entire application.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE A SMOOTH CONVERSION
*New Users* Click to Download LoanAce and begin instructions at the Installation Process below.
BEFORE INSTALLING UPDATES:
- The default location for the "LoanData" folder has changed from previous versions. For this reason, it will be helpful to make a note of your current "LoanData" folder location so you can easily update the settings in LoanAce after installation has completed.
- To find your LoanData folder in LoanAce click Tools > Settings and select the Loan Folder tab.
Note: Loan data will not be lost or removed from your computer while updates are being installed.
- Uninstall the version of LoanAce currently running on your computer via the Control Panel.
Installation Process:
- When prompted, select "Run" or "Save" on the file download dialog box.
- An Internet Security Warning will pop-up to confirm you trust the source (LoanAce) and want to download the software, click "Run".
- Select to "Install the VS Primary Interop Assembilies. (This is a Microsoft required component necessary for LoanAce to install and run successfully.)
The LoanAce Set up Wizard will being automatically. Continue through the wizard as follows to successfully complete installation:
- Click "Next" to being the installation process.

- The default location for LoanAce installation and program files is listed. This is the recommended standard location for programs to be installed.
- If you wish to install LoanAce using a different location, select “Browse” and choose your preferred location.
- To make the program accessible to other user accounts on the same computer, select ‘Everyone’; otherwise select ‘Just me’ to make LoanAce available for the user account you are currently logged into.
- Click "Next" to proceed with installation.
- To change these settings, click the "Back" button and make the necessary changes prior to installing LoanAce.
- When you receive the "Confirm Installation" screen, click "Next".
- While LoanAce is being installed, you will see the progress window. This process may take a few minutes. Do not turn off your computer while this is running. You may work in other programs while this completes.
- You will receive a message letting you know that the installation process has completed. You may then close the install wizard and open LoanAce using either the short-cut icon created on your desktop or via your start menu within the TeraVendo programs folder.
